When good enough is great

Are you a perfectionist? I am a recovering one. Letting go of perfectionism has taken me to better places in my career and life than perfect ever could. If this is you try these 3 tips (above) for good enough work.

Trying to to make everything we do at work great can result in:

- pressure, stress and burnout
- not completing things, taking too long
- lack of confidence due to not achieving the standards we set ourselves
- not trying new things as we fear they may not be perfect

We can also miss moments when pace and progress are more important than perfection.

Not everything has to be perfect. When we are selective in assessing what work is ok to be good enough we create the energy to increase our impact in other areas.

When does aiming for 'great' get in the way of your growth?
